It is a little shop right off the main drag but if you were not looking for it you would drive right by. I sought it out after a recommendation from a friend and I sure am glad I did. In a part of the country with LOTS of Mexican food places and even more taco trucks it is hard to stand out but this place does it and with personality and style. I would have pictures of the food that both my wife and I ate but it was gone as soon as I got my first bite and I didn't think anybody wanted pictures of empty plates.
To stand out around here you have to have great meat and great salsa (everything else is kinda the same) and this place knocks both of those things out of the park. The meat had excellent flavor, texture, and moisture and the sauces from mild to hot all had great flavor. I usually don't like the milder sauces but they were bursting with flavor and not only was the hot sauce nice and spicy but it had flavor too and that doesn't always happen.
Above all, don't miss out on the homemade tortillas.
Thank you to the staff that was very personable and helpful. This was just the topping on a really terrific experience. The next time I am even close to this town I will make it a point to stop in for tacos, or maybe something else next time.
