Le Beccaria just opened one week ago, but it already has the makings of a neighborhood favorite for years to come.
My wife and I ate with our two young children and we were warmly welcomed by the owner. We ordered the kids meal for the children and my wife and I enjoyed the cheese fondue.
The husband wife duo who runs this place has previous experience as the chef in restaurants in the Alps, in particular Meribel. They are well versed in Savoyard cuisine, and perfectly executed on a Beaufort, Abondance, and Comte fondue savoyarde. Ma femme est française et elle était d'Isère et elle a vécu en Savoie. Nous connaissons très bien la nourriture de cette région.
The dining room is completely round with a bench and art going around the entire perimeter. Nice lounge music was softly playing completing the ambience. It's a small restaurant, so it might make sense to make reservations on busy nights.
Hope others enjoy Le Beccaria as much as we did.
