Full disclosure... We got a great rate due to the low traffic during the reopening. This, my rating is based on that number. To be honest, the room was nothing better than most of the other strip properties I have stayed at. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but it didn't wow me either.
The bed, sheets, and pillows were good, but was rather warm in the room and we couldn't really get it cool enough. This made sleeping was a bit difficult. We also smelled marijuana smoke coming from nearby rooms which should be completely unacceptable in a non smoking room at the Bellagio. The artwork and decor were very tasteful and beautiful. Also, the staff were not exceptional, but merely passable.
The floor of the hallway had several wine and cocktail glasses sitting outside our neighbors doors. 4 days later the glasses were still there. It looked trashy and isn't up to the standards that a room of this caliber should be at.
If my rating was based upon their normal rates, I would be much more harsh.
I would stay there again due to the great mid strip locale, but only if the price was right.
